ABOUT US

Exploration, a space-focused STEM education organisation, has been promoting astronomy and space sciences in Pakistan since 2016. Through collaborations with schools, organisations, and industry professionals, we bring the wonders of the cosmos to the classroom, educating and guiding aspiring individuals to pursue their space dreams. Our diverse space-focused learning experiences aim to cultivate a community of curious young minds aiming to be the space generation of Pakistan.

Believing that the stars shine for everyone, irrespective of gender or socio-economic background, our mission is to ensure universal access to the wonders of the cosmos for every child. Committed to delivering high-quality space education and services, our immersive programs extend to hospitals, orphanages, and disability centres, making space accessible to all.

MISSION:

Our mission is to kindle interest in space sciences across Pakistan by creating greater space awareness via informal teaching methodologies. We celebrate space with children and young adults by engaging schools and organisations through space-based STEM workshops, and events; building a community of curious young minds who wish to become the next space generation of Pakistan.

VISION:

We aim to involve and bring on board decision-makers and stakeholders to guide us through our journey, help us make improvements in the already existing curriculum, include space education as an integral part of national curricula, bring innovation to schools, practical sciences, and bridge the gap between academia and the research industry.

NAMESAKE

Exploration is named after an artistic spacesuit created by Astronauts Nicole’s Space For Art Foundation. It has been painted by paediatric patients from all around the world including Pakistan. It is a representation of utilising healing therapy of arts to promote space and making space inclusive for kids who are unable to attend conventional schools. Spacesuit Exploration has been exhibited at several art galleries and conferences around the world including OMEGA Boutique, Miami USA, International Fashion Academy, Paris SpaceFest Tucson Arizona USA 2019.
